Understanding search engines

               There are many uses for a search engine. Some examples of search engines are google, yahoo, bing, and there are a lot of others. For this essay I used google as my search engine to complete this assignment. There are many ways to search something on the internet sometime you have to find the specific way that best works for you.
               The question that I put in the search engine was, "how do the democratic and republican postions on the "fiscal cliff" differ?" Sometimes there is better questions as examples like for example one would be were there are two options such as if I were to ask, " what's better cats or dog?". When you phrase this question you could capitalize the words or , and . I found this method is not that good by itself.
                  Some other ways is adding quotation marks to your search. Adding the quotations will narrow it down a lot but you will still get a lot. But you may still get a lot more results becaus google tries to guess things for you and that is just a waste of time. You could also put in minuse sighns and put some words in parenthasese. Your best bet is to do everyone of these things and it will narrow down your search to very little and you will find exactly what you want.
               So a combination of quotes and minus sines and capitalizing or and   are the best option because i found exactly what i was looking for. This narrowed my results down until i found what I wanted. A lot of good results with this combination. But there are some other options that can help you when searching but thats up to you, and those are the things that I use when I am reaserching from a search engine.

Anakin

The creed of evil has been, since the beginnings of highly industrialized society, not only a precursor of barbarism but a mask of good. The worth of the latter was transferred to the evil that drew to itself all the hatred and resentment of an order which drummed good into its adherents so that it could with impunity be evil. –Theador Wiesengrund. What is evil? How does something become evil?  Can something change from good to evil? Well the movie of Star Wars three revenge of the Sith follows Anakin Skywalker as he transitions from good to evil.

In the beginning Anakin starts off as a jedi. In the movie he is with Obi-Wan and they get in a fight with Count Dooku. Anakin ends up winning the fight. But Obi-Wan is hurt. Later on Anakin is persuaded by Palpatine  to believe that the jedi council is against him. This is where he decided to believe that the jedi was against him.This is the part that he slowly turned evil.

Eventually Mace Windu Fights with Palpatine and Anakin hurts Mace Windu to help Palpatine thinking he can save his wife. That’s were Anakin messed up again. Then  Darth Sidious made Anakin his apprentice. Then he was told to kill all the jedi. Then he proceeds to killing all the kids in the jedi temple. This is the point of no return in the movie. He totally lost it.

I think Anakin had multiple chances of remaining a jedi. He didn’t have to believe anything he was told. Nor did he have to get involved with Mace Windu and Palpatine fighting. And after he did and was told to kill all the jedi. He could have not done it.

Star Wars three revenge of the Sith follows Anakin Skywalker as he transitions from good to evil. Ankakin skywalker turned evil completely. He went from being a jedi to being on the dark side. He was easily manipulated. And it is sad because it happens all the time.

Prop 37

                  Imagine being fed poision and thinking its just normal everyday food. And you actualy had to pay for this poison and eat it everytime. But the funniest part is you didn't know that it had poison in it. Well thatswhats going on in your everyday food, there are all kinds of chemmicals that they don't mention when you buy the food. Well vote yes on prop 37 so in california they would label genetically engineered food.
                 Some pros to voting yes is that they would label every genetically engineered food before they sold it. Thats a good thing because you want to know what your buying before you eat it or feed it to your family. I think it would be a step closer to having a healthier california, because people would consume less of these foods. Some cons are that these products would stop being sold and it would probably not help the econemy if there are a lot of them not being sold. So in the end it would be better to vote yes.
              If I was 18 years of age and I had to vote I would vote yes. I would vote yes because in the end it would be better to not have those genetically engineered foods being consumed by anybody. See today companies don't care about people's health. Everything is about making money. But that is what i would vote if I had too.

Middle Ages

If I was in the Middle Ages I would definitely be the king of the castle. I would live in the castle. There wouldn’t be any challenges that I would be facing on a daily basis because everything I ordered would be taken care of because I am the king. My family life is good because I have it easy. I would be married to the queen and that should be easy because she has no option but to be happy, she cant just leave me or want to, and my children would be raised by other people because I would be too lazy to raise them myself. The world around me would be a problem because I would constantly be at war with other kingdoms. No military training, life has been pretty easy for me, everything has just been handed to me since I was born. I value my wealth I’m proud to be a rich and wealthy king. One of my morals is to stick to what I believe in. As of right now no plans for the future, just to stay king and do it right.

Merchant

This is the merchant from Canterbury Tales. He rides a horse, and has a hat. He also wears funny boots. He is sneaky and a thief. He will lie rob cheat and steal, do anything for a quick buck.

College

                Many people have a lot of opinions when it comes to college. They don't know if college is a must, some say college isn't necessary. If you plan to get a further education than justhigh school and community college then you should definately have your grades in order. Colleges are become more and more stricter. We have to ask ourselves, " Are our grades really that important?"
               I think that when it comes to highschool grades being in order, I think colleges should be less strict. If you have all failing grades throughout every year in highschool, then thats a problem. But if you have one or two poor grades then its not that big of a deal. College  is expensive enough. In the end why do colleges care about your grade, their still taking your money at the end of the day. If you fail your classes oh well they don't care, their still getting paid. So i don't think your highschool grades schould matter that much when it comes to college.
               We have to ask ourselves, " Are our grades really that important?" I think that when it comes to college our highschool grade should be important to a certain point. But as for one or two bad grades on the transcript it shouldn't really matter. I think colleges should only be concerned if the transcript is really bad. But I guess college is not for everybody.

senior year highlights

I am happy to be a senior. I am excited about my last year of high school. It was fun while it lasted. had a good time here at south city. I wont forget my highschool years. Im ready to start a new chapter in my life.
I am sure this last year will be a good one. I am looking forward to doin all the things i will do as a senior like graduating.
